Norris Freight Service plays a vital role in the last mile delivery, specializing in delivering goods efficiently and securely at the last mile of the delivery.  We coordinate shipments, manage logistics, and ensure timely deliveries to our customers. We also track shipments, handle documentation, and provide excellent customer service.


 

Real time tracking for you the end customer

Real Time Tracking offers our customers unparalleled peace of mind by providing up-to -the -minute updates on the location of their packages and deliveries.  This transparency reduces anxiety, allowing customers to know exactly when to expect their items.  Additionally, real time tracking boosts efficiency, enabling better time management and reducing unnecessary waiting.

Delivery Service Levels

Basic
Delivery to the nearest accessible location—typically the front door, garage, or porch.

Basic Plus
Same as Basic, but requires a customer signature at the time of delivery.

Threshold
Delivery just inside the front door of the residence or building entrance.

Room of Choice
Delivery to any room within the home, as specified by the customer.

White Glove
Full-service delivery to the customer's chosen location within the home, including unpacking, placement, and removal of packaging materials. Assembly is included, except on Amazon orders, which do not include assembly.


Delivery Time Windows

Each delivery is scheduled within a 2-4 hour window.
Our drivers will call you approximately 30 minutes before arrival.
Please ensure someone is available. Drivers may wait 15 minutes if their schedule allows on site.  After that, they must proceed to their next stop.


What Happens When Your Item Arrives at Our Warehouse

Once your shipment is received at our facility, we check it in and verify the contents.
Then, dispatch will contact you directly to schedule a delivery date and time window.


If Your Item Is Damaged

If your item is damaged, please contact your place of purchase immediately.
You may choose to:

  • Accept the item and resolve the issue with the seller
     
  • Refuse the item at the time of delivery
     

Note: For items from JCPenney, 1StopBedrooms, or Purchasing Power, a customer service phone number will be listed on your Proof of Delivery (P.O.D.). Call the number at the time of delivery if there’s damage or you wish to refuse the item.


 Important: Our drivers are instructed to deliver based on the service level listed on the order provided by the retailer. If a customer believes they paid for a higher level of service (such as White Glove), but it is not reflected on the delivery paperwork, the driver must follow the listed instructions. Any disputes should be addressed directly with the place of purchase.
