Norris Freight Service plays a vital role in the last mile delivery, specializing in delivering goods efficiently and securely at the last mile of the delivery. We coordinate shipments, manage logistics, and ensure timely deliveries to our customers. We also track shipments, handle documentation, and provide excellent customer service.
Real Time Tracking offers our customers unparalleled peace of mind by providing up-to -the -minute updates on the location of their packages and deliveries. This transparency reduces anxiety, allowing customers to know exactly when to expect their items. Additionally, real time tracking boosts efficiency, enabling better time management and reducing unnecessary waiting.
What are the levels of service?
Basic- Next to the house, or garage
Basic Plus- Same as above only requires a signature
Threshold- In the first doorway of the residence
Room of choice- In the customers room of choice
White Glove- In the location the customer chooses, with all trash removed, and item assembled. (note Amazon white glove orders are not assembled)
What time will my driver arrive?
Orders have a 4 hour window for delivery, and the driver will give you a 30 minute precall before arrival. Note when on site the driver can wait up to 15 minutes for the customer to arrive. After that amount of time we instruct them to move on to the next delivery.
What happens when my item comes into your warehouse?
When your items arrive at our warehouse, we check the items in, then Danelle, or Melissa contact the customers and start scheduling routes.
What do I do if my item is damaged?
Contact your place of purchase and inform them the item is damaged. Then decide if you are going to accept it or refuse it due to damage, this is up to you the customer, and the service representative to make the decision. Note: JC Penny, 1stopbedroom, and purchasing power are going to have a phone number to call on the P.O.D. if there is any damage, or you are going to refuse the item.
